Natan Lao

Hi, I’m Natan. I do things with computers and software, for fun and occasionally for money to fund my growing collection of exotic spices. (That last part is a joke, mostly.)

I also like doing some things not related to computers or programming. My main side project for the last couple years has been growing and leading UN Contemporary Issues, an undergraduate-led international politics class at UC Santa Cruz, now the campus’s largest.

I’m a student at UC Santa Cruz pursuing a degree in computer engineering, with a concentration in systems programming and a minor in computer science. (I have a personality outside of being a programmer, promise.)

I work on the Computational Genomics Platform at the UCSC Genomics Institute.
